Charles began his interest in music at an early age, first playing concerts at age 12. At 17, Charles performed on tympani in an orchestra, playing Carnegie Hall in New York City, as well as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Later, Charles was trained in percussion, music theory, and composition at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. Ultimately deciding to pursue recording arts rather than music performance, he entered the commercial music business, building recording studios in Cincinnati and Chicago. Scoring original music, he wrote for Sony, Kraft, Tide, Hefty, Glade, and dozens of other brands for numerous Chicago and Cincinnati advertising agencies. He wrote a raucous score for a feature film entitled “War Zone.”
Charles gave his first sermon in 2015. After speaking publicly to clients for the better part of a decade, this new medium gave him a voice to express life-encouraging messages, specifically focusing on personal growth and family restoration.
Charles was awarded the Chartered Market Technican (CMT) charter in 2015. This two-year program and certification is held by less than 5,000 market technicians worldwide. Today, Charles is the portfolio manager with his firm, CB3 Financial Group. Charles’ market opinions have warranted appearances on Fox News as a economic analyst, as well as him being quoted by Fox News commentator Sean Hannity and Bloomberg News.
Charles loves the seemingly disparate co-challenge of equity portfolio management and composing classical music for live performance
